Curling the eyelashes is one of those parts of a makeup application that never gets the deserved credit but can produce remarkable results when done correctly. With a proper curl, lashes look longer, thicker, fuller, and the eyes themselves appear larger and more awake.
Every girl and MU artist have their method, but here we’ve gathered three tricky techniques on how to keeps your eyelashes curled & lifted all day long. All of them can be done from the comfort of your home.

Method #1:
Heated Curler & mascara

The idea of this process is to curl your lashes with the Curler’s heat and fixate them with a gel mascara (or a regular one).

Wiggling the mascara contributes to the better spreading of the lashes. With that, they will be de-clumped, and each hair strand will stand separately.

Read on how to do this safely and correctly.

Heated Curler (or  regular lash curler + hair blower)
Transparent Mascara

  1. Prepare your heating curler; Or heat your regular lash curler with the hair blower. Be careful – the Curler needs to be warm, not hot, so you won’t burn your skin or damage your lashes. Always test the temperature of the Curler on the inside of your arm. If it feels right, it’s safe to use.
  2. Apply pressure to the lashes with the Curler and hold for 20 seconds.
  3. Immediately apply the transparent gel (or regular) mascara while wiggling the wand. It will fix the form, keep the lashes in the primary position, and keep each hair strand separately.

Method #2:
Pulse Curler Approach

It is essential to have a steady hand and be skilled with the Curler in this approach.

The entire focus is on putting pressure on each section of the lashes separately: the base, the middle, and the tips.

This way, you will achieve better and more long-lasting results than treating them all together. Here are the right steps for this approach:

Heated Curler (or  regular lash curler + hair blower)

  1. Prepare your heating curler; Or heat your regular lash curler with the hair blower. (don’t overheat it!)
  2. When warm enough, apply pressure on the base of the lashes and keep it there for 5 seconds.
  3. Repeat the same step for the middle part and the tips of the lashes separately. Reheat the Curler between steps if required.

Method #3:
Lash Lift

The effects of the above-mentioned procedures are not very durable in terms of time, and you can’t expect them last more than a day or two. No matter what eyelash curler or mascara you use, your eyelashes will eventually drop after a little while. So here comes the final and most intriguing trick to Keeps You Eyelashes Curled & Lifted for days (and weeks) – Lash lift.

If this concept is new to you, a lash lift is essentially a perm for your eyelashes. It creates a long-lasting curl that lifts your eyelashes and makes your eyes look bigger and more open! It completely negates any need for a traditional eyelash curler (and mascara for many). It typically lasts about 6-8 weeks and cost around 100$ at the beauty salons.

However, not all of us can afford such touch-ups regularly. And that’s alright because there is always a backup plan. And in the case of lash lift, we’ve got you covered.
